Snow Dance

Not sure if it is a squirrel or a rabit but someone has been dancing in circles on the snow mounds in the backyard.

We are always open!

Not Just Snacks on Hope street was the only restaurant open today in spite of the blizzard. The owner said that they have not been closed since 2001 when they first opened and he did not want to break the record. 

We were happy to devour samosas and chai after a nice walk in the snow :)

Snowscapes

Interesting formation of snow and ice. It snowed yesterday and then rained. Weird weather for January.

Looking down

I was pleasantly surprised  today looking down from the 12th floor of Public Health School on South Main street. Took a day to figure out which building I was looking at.

Art installations in public spaces

I miss the public space sculptures scattered all over NYC. This sculpture in the making on the Brown University campus reminded me that I need to go in search of public space art in Providence.
